Sealants

A great way to protect your teeth from decay and cavities is sealants. Morals are the teeth that are most vulnerable to cavities and decay. Sealants are most effective when they are placed early on into the morals lifespan.

Adhesive is applied to the tooth before the sealant to ensure that it stays in place throughout the process. The sealant in it’s liquid form is then applied to the tooth. The sealant is then hardened to create a seal between your tooth and food particles, any plaque and bacteria. Reapplication of the sealant may be required after 10 years if necessary.
