Glen Mills is an unincorporated community in Concord Township, Delaware County. Glen Mills was part of the original land that was granted to William Penny by the King of England in 1681. The first settler of the area that makes up Glen Mills was George Cheyney. The nearby town of Cheyney is named after him. Glen Mills was named for the two paper mills that were built by the Willcox family in 1835 and 1846. These Mills are no longer standing however.
